It's a wonderful life, if you're a golfer. Canmore features some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, starting with Rocky Mountains' famous Three Sister peaks standing guard over the town.
Two resorts have made the most of the town's location by building scenic golf course to challenge the skill and soothe the senses.
Three Sisters Mountain Village is taking it even further by constructing yet another golf course (now under construction) that will bring its offerings to 36 holes once completed.
The new course will be called the Three Sisters Resort Course, which will be open to the public, while the Stewart Creek Golf and Country Club will be open to members.
SilverTip, which is across the highway, is the other course is the SilverTip Community, A comprehensive golf clubhouse opened at the course last year.
Within the town, itself, Canmore has also has its own golf course, the Canmore Golf and Curling Club.
Just outside Canmore, 2 Kananaskis golf courses are open to the public just a short drive away. Even closer is the beautiful Banff Springs Golf Course inside the National Park gates in the town of Banff.
