Brad Hawker has been selling Real Estate in the Bow Valley since February of 1992. An active member of the community, Brad has helped organize the Royal LePage Christmas Food Bank Drive since 1994, as well as taught a community course for 17 years in the Bow Valley on 'How to Buy Your First Home'. He also coordinates local fundraising efforts for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, which is dedicated to providing funding and support to shelters for abused women and their children in Canmore and Banff. Our office has raised funds and donated it to Banff YWCA and Bow Valley Victim Services.

Brad is the Broker and owner of Royal LePage Rocky Mountain Realty and received the Certificate of Achievement in 1993 for Industrial, Commercial and Investment Division certification from the Calgary Real Estate Board. For 8 years Brad was an active Board Member and the past President of the Pointe of View Condominium Association and is present President of the Royal LePage Center condo association and is very familiar with the Condominium Act and how that affects Buyers and Sellers. Brad was the Alberta representative on the 15 person organizing committee for the Royal LePage national convention held in Halifax. Brad was also on 2 subcommittees for this conference, the 3-member technology committee and continues to be co-chair of the Auction committee at the national conference and regional conferences, which raises funds annually for the Royal LePage Women's Shelter Foundation. This auction, through the generosity of Royal LePage Realtors across Canada, has raised over a million dollars for the Shelter Foundation. Brad also supplies the press with market information for their articles and is quoted often as a voice in Canmore and Banff Real Estate.
Brad first came to the Bow Valley for a winter of skiing from Montreal between CEGEP and University and has since been followed west by his parents who now live in Canmore and two sisters who now reside in Calgary. Brad has an active daughter Lauren who is now finishing high school and is soon off to university, but enjoyed French immersion and her 10 months in Madrid as the Canmore Rotary exchange student for 2013-2014. She loves to ski, dance, and is a ski coach with the Banff Alpine Racers. Brad’s son Callum is passionate about ski racing and visualises himself in the on the National Team with Olympic and World Cup medals in the future. Cal loves to be outside or doing any sport available to him Before starting at the National Sports School this year, Callum was very active in school and Rep team sports like basketball, volleyball, soccer and when he was younger swim team and hockey.
Prior to Real Estate Brad was very active in triathlons for 4 years and completed the Penticton Ironman and Vancouver Marathon plus coached skiing part time for 2 years with the Bow Valley Quikies and was a past Board member of the ski club for 5 years. When Brad is not working hard for his clients, he can be found Alpine or Nordic skiing, swimming, mountain biking and hiking in our awesome "backyard". During one month in mid-summer, Brad holidays at his cottage in the Laurentians, north of Montreal, with his family at which time his business partner, Drew Betts, and Brad's Team take care of business in a seamless manner.
